North Korea ready to resume six-party talks

North Korea ready to resume six-party talks, said the spokesman for the DPRK Foreign Ministry. It is reported by Xinhua, citing the official KCNA news agency of North Korea.

Until then, North Korean media made several bellicose statements. Talked about Pyongyang's intention to "thousandfold" increase the power of the North Korean army in response to Washington's refusal to lift the sanctions imposed on North Korea.

In addition, First Deputy Foreign Minister Kim Kyo-kwan said that Pyongyang will not return to negotiations in the format of the disarmament-for-food program until the sanctions are not cease to operate.
