Facebook caught in the disclosure of personal data of users

This week, the world's largest social networking site Facebook has become the focus of press attention, and critics - a result of the publication of The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) investigation found that some popular applications service without users' knowledge transfer personal data to third parties. In total, formed by journalists list appears at least 25 advertising agencies and organizations involved in the collection of private data.
Among implicated in the transmission of data lighted popular game FarmVille from Zynga Game Network Inc, a monthly audience of which is 59 million. In total, Facebook recorded more than 500 million accounts. Thus, according to the newspaper, the number of users whose data have been leaked, could amount to tens of millions. At the same time affected even those of the account holder, who set the most stringent privacy settings.
